Why Los Angeles Lakers Fans Should Remain Confident
为什么湖人球迷得保持自信
There has been a lot of talk about the Los Angeles Lakers and their chances to repeat as NBA Champions this season. They came into this year with people thinking they could beat the Chicago Bulls' record by winning more than 72 games, making them seem invincible. Yet, with only nine games left in the regular season, the Lakers are sitting at 54-19, meaning even if they win all the remaining games, they could only be 63-19.
关于洛杉矶湖人及本赛季卫冕的话题多的满天飞。今年人们认为他们能够打破公牛的常规赛胜场纪录，达到72胜，这使得他们看着有点独孤求败的感觉。但是，常规赛只剩下九场，而湖人目前只拿到了54胜，这就意味着即使他们拿下全部九场比赛，他们也只能达到63胜19负。
Not only that, but they lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers twice, and are also 1-2 against new rival the Denver Nuggets, the two teams that seem like the only teams that can compete with L.A.
But why should you remain confident as Lakers fans, when it seems like this season hasn't yet been a success? (Even though the Lakers still sit comfortably as the No. 1 seed in the West and have the second best record in the NBA)
Here are five reasons why:
不仅如此，本赛季他们被骑士双杀，而且对他们的新对手丹佛也是1胜2负，貌似只有这两支球队才能和湖人抗衡。即使看起来这赛季的常规赛并不是很吸引人，但是作为湖人球迷，为什么还要保持一定的信心呢？（即使目前湖人已经锁定西部一号种子，同时也位居联盟次席）
下面有五点原因：
1. Phil Jackson wins Championships in 3-peats. The Zen Master has never won a Championship without winning two more after the first. Why does that matter? The Lakers won the Championship last year, and history tells us they will win it not only this year, but the year after.
I 禅师率队夺冠一般都是连续三个，在拿下第一座冠军奖杯后，后面连续两年，他还没让冠军旁落过，为什么这个很重要呢？因为湖人去年夺冠，而历史昭示我们，湖人不仅今年可以夺冠，而且明年依然是冠军。（这次灵不灵啊）
2. The Lakers play in the Western Conference. Unlike the Cavaliers who play teams like the Raptors, Knicks, Nets, 76ers, and Pistons every night. The Lakers have to go up against teams like Denver, Dallas, Utah, and Phoenix. Right now, the ninth place team in the West would be a No. 6 seed in the East and only a game behind the No. 5 seed.

3. The Lakers have not been 100 percent once this season. The Lakers have caught the injury bug this season and there hasn't been a time where everyone on the roster has been healthy. Currently, Andrew Bynum and Luke Walton are out. Ron Artest jammed his ankle in the last game against Houston, and Kobe Bryant has been battling ankle and finger injuries all season long. (Kobe is currently playing with a dislocated and broken finger)

4. They're defending champions. They know what it takes to win it all, and how to get the job done. They have been to the Finals two straight years and know how it feels to win it all and to lose it. L.A. always turns it on towards this time of year, as if there is a switch in the locker room and they flip it up and become unbeatable.
IV 他们是卫冕冠军。他们知道他们需要赢下所有比赛，而且也知道如何去打。他们连续两年都进入了总决赛，所以他们当然知道赢球和输球的滋味。每年的这个时候，湖人就开始发力，好像更衣室设有开关一样，他们开始变得不可战胜。
5. There is a certain guy on the Lakers' roster named Kobe Bryant who just happens to be the best NBA player in the game today. Should anybody really be worried with a guy like Kobe on your team? The dude is a unbelievable when it comes down to the stretch of games, hitting seven game-winning shots this season. If it's a close one, Lakers fans never seem to worry because they know their guy will come through.
V 湖人可拥有全联盟最好的球员科比。是不是还有人为球队中有科比这样的家伙儿感到担心？在比赛最后，有些家伙就是不靠谱的，而科比在本赛季投中了七个决定比赛胜负的球。如果比赛的最后关头，湖人球迷则一点也无需担心，因为他们呢知道湖人能抗住。
