內線計劃---湖人積極備戰太陽
On Day 1 of preparations for the Phoenix Suns in the Western Conference finals, the Lakers made it clear that they want to stick their postseason Plan A: Go to the big guys until someone makes it necessary to do something else.

It worked in the first-round win over Oklahoma City and the second-round sweep of Utah. And even though the Suns have more front-line size, the Lakers believe it can continue to work.

The Suns expect to have 7-foot center Robin Lopezback, at least to some degree, for Monday's Game 1. He's been out since March 26 with a bulging disk in his back. Along with 6-10 Amar'e Stoudemire and 6-11 Channing Frye, that would make the Suns more capable of matching the Lakers' height than the previous playoff opponents.

The Lakers took three of four regular-season meetings from Phoenix, including a 102-96 win in Arizona on March 12 that was a rare late-season hiccup for the Suns. After the NBA trade deadline passed on Feb. 18, ending the anticipation that Stoudemire would be dealt away, the Suns went 22-5 to close the regular season, including a 10-game winning streak immediately following the loss to LA.

The Suns were 24-7 with Lopez in the starting lineup, a move that came Jan. 18.
Regardless of the lineup, though, the Suns have remained committed to the up-tempo game, a feature of the Mike D'Antoni era that has been restored by current Coach Alvin Gentry and makes full use of the creative abilities of guard Steve Nash.
