1. 推薦餐點──主人
• The n.p. is very good here. 　
這裡的……很好吃。
例　The steak is very good here.　
　　這裡的牛排很好吃。
　　 The seafood is very good here.　
　　這裡的海鮮很好吃。
• You should try the n.p. 　
你應該試試……。
例　You should try the sweet and sour pork.　
　　你應該試試糖醋排骨。
　　 You should try the meatloaf.　
　　你應該試試烤肉條。
• You might want to try the n.p. It’s a local delicacy. 　
你也許會想試試……。它是當地美食。
例　You might want to try the crab soup. It’s a local delicacy.　
　　你也許會想要試試螃蟹湯。它是當地的美食。
　　 You might want to try the steamed trout. It’s a local delicacy.　
　　你也許會想要試試清蒸鱒魚。它是當地的美食。
　　 • Would you like me to order for you?

．如果你覺得客人可能會誤點他不喜歡的餐，你可以說：It’s a little …. 或 It might be too … for you. 來提醒對方。

我要……。
例　I’ll have the fish.　
　　我要魚。
　　 I’ll have the beef stew.　
　　我要燉牛肉。
• For my main course, I’d like the n.p. 　
我要……當主菜。
例　For my main course, I’d like the steak.　
　　我要牛排當主菜。
　　 For my main course, I’d like the spaghetti.　
　　我要義大利肉醬麵當主菜。
• That’s it.. 　
就這樣。

．點餐完畢，就可對服務生說：That’s it.、That’ll do it. 或 That’ll do it for us. Thank you.。
