Luke Walton only scored four points, one rebound and four assists Wednesday against Dallas. It’s hardly noteworthy in his second game back from a pinched nerve in his lower back.

But that’s not how Kobe Bryant saw it. Like a proud dad, he praised Walton’s play in the Lakers’ 100-95 victory against the Mavericks, calling his play “a big difference.”
