或許大家真的太急，在明星賽前「水貨狀元」的聲音，已開始若有似無地尾隨灰狼狀元郎「蟻人」艾德華茲（Anthony Edwards），不過這位19歲的菜鳥在明星賽稍作休息調整後整個大爆發，在今天再度打破生涯單場得分紀錄、單場拿下42分，而這也是2020梯新秀第一位單場拿超過40分的球員。



位處聯盟爐主之位的灰狼，在今天對上西區第二（賽後變第三）的太陽一度落後15分，但在第四節灰狼掀起絕地大反攻，尤其艾德華茲的犀利切入讓太陽防不勝防，而最終灰狼就以123比119逆轉勝出，總算拿下本季第10勝，至於艾德華茲全場則拿下42分7籃板3助攻2抄截，唯一的缺憾是三分線上僅投13中4，不過這也超越他在15日對上拓荒者的單場34分、創下生涯得分新高。順道一提，其實灰狼隊上另一位老狀元唐斯（Karl-Anthony Towns，也沒多老25歲而已）今天也砍下41分10籃板8助攻。



艾德華茲今天單場40分以上的表現，是否會讓許多看衰他的人閉嘴呢？但至少這已讓他在菜鳥年的單場數據比肩「詹皇」姆斯（LeBron James）和「KD」杜蘭特（Kevin Durant），前者是史上最年輕的「單場40+」球員，當時以19歲又88天創下歷史紀錄，後者則是19歲又200天，至於第三年輕的艾德華茲則是19歲又225天，而這兩位大學長菜鳥年的「單場40+」僅有一場表現，或許艾德華茲在毫無壓力的灰狼打球，球季結束前能再多爆量演出幾場高得分比賽也很難說。



而在全明星賽結束後，近5場艾德華茲的表現可說是大爆發，場均得分有30.6分，命中率則拉升到47.9%，為人所詬病的三分命中率也提升到39.1%，雖然樣本數還不夠多，但狀況與明星賽前相比確實有感提升，順道為大家再複習一下，在選秀前艾德華茲的成長天花板被評為是「閃電俠」韋德（Dwyane Wade），至於成長地板則是「服務生」威特斯（Dion Waiters）……現在你又怎麼看呢？
