Whether a person can live a thorough life depends on his or her level of cognition.
The definition of thoroughness is having the freedom to make decisions and choices with little hesitation or regret.
In short, if a person is still trapped in the turmoil of life, career, interpersonal relationships, etc. His cognitive dimension is definitely no more than the third level.
Just like a summer insect which can't recognize about ice; their knowledge is short-sighted.
What you hear are opinions, not facts; what you see are points of views, not truth.
Human beings cannot understand the world based on facts and only instinctively assign meaning to events that support their opinions.
The so-called "right and wrong" are just based on different opinions/positions and have nothing to do with the crux of the issue.
Pay attention to both sides of the issue to avoid falling into decision-making fog and mental paralysis.
Choosing any sides is always stupid!
The difference in opinions is not about IQ, but about vision.
Everyone can come up with ideas, but only few elites have the vision.
Taking investment as an example, the difficult part is not judging the best strategy, but maintaining a long-term view and flexible corrections, which not only saves costs, but also allows profits to run.
Opinions and emotions are "cheap", while facts and processes are "priceless".
Regardless of the title of the publisher, the key is whether the discussion is valuable, meaningful and logically consistent.
By changing your perspective and reversing your state of mind, you will not be easily swayed by interests and positions.
Acquire "diversified perspectives" through "reading" and enhance the depth (breadth) of cognition.
Blindly relying on collective wisdom and parasitizing the crowd may limit the willingness to think independently and miss the possibility of creation. |
